In relaxing, informal and no pressure atmosphere and surroundings, have a great fun day out, acquiring a broad foundation of skills that give you the choice to be able to achieve a more independent and self-reliant lifestyle.
From basics such as changing a fuse and putting up a shelf to fencing, building, groundwork and more, nothing should feel daunting. You CAN do it!
My inspiration for this course, came from women who have attended some of my other courses. The general consensus has been of surprise and delight at the realisation that some of the tasks, such as fencing for example, they have been able to do themselves and not have to ‘get someone in to do it’! And so this day was born.
I aim to provide you with an enjoyable, informal, inspiring, confidence building, non-judgemental and no pressure day, where no question is too trivial. With the intent of providing you with the foundations, that give you the choice to be independent. No more HAVING to ask for jobs to be done.
You won’t become a master of all trades after just one day, but you will hopefully have the basis and the confidence to know how to build upon what you have learnt and realise that nothing is daunting. If one person can do something, then so can another!
We will begin at 10.00am and run until approximately 4.00pm. Refreshments will be available throughout the day and a light lunch provided. Please wear practical clothing and footwear and bring gloves if you feel that you may need them.
Either a one day course, or a series of courses are available. After attending this day course, there will be the opportunity to come along to further dates for a more in depth look at more specific skillsets. The fee for subsequent dates will be £25.00 per person.
