“A great meeting of the Kent Smallholders group tonight, hosted by Lizzie Offen and Lake Farm in Sutton Valance where we were given a Wild Food Tour. The evening began with a welcome drink of Nettle and Water Mint Tea followed by a tour around learning about the culinary and medical properties of various plants including Nettles, Burdock, Plantain, Clover (red and white), Yarrow, Elderflower and Jack by (or in) the Hedge off the top of my head.”

Lovely to see so many people enjoying the farm, the stalls, the pig racing, the scarecrow building, the good food and the yummy local cider and beer.
